Through PB Wheels

    Visit the Pb Wheels website and go to the 'Check RC Status' page.

    Enter your vehicle number and click on 'View RC Status'.

Through Parivahan Portal

    Open the 'Parivahan Sewa' website and go to the 'Online Services' tab.

How to Download RC Online?

Visit the Parivahan portal for online RC download. Follow the steps given above until you reach the ‘Online services' tab and do the following:

    Enter registration number, chassis number(full), and engine number(full).

Can you Apply for a Duplicate RC?

You can apply for a duplicate RC online if you have lost it somewhere or if it has been stolen. Follow the steps given below to apply for a duplicate RC book:

    Visit the Parivahan Sewa portal and click on 'Vehicle Related Services' through the 'Online Services' tab.

    Choose your state from the dropdown list and enter your vehicle number and registered RTO. Click proceed.

What are the Documents Required to Apply for a Duplicate RC?

The following documents are required to apply for a duplicate RC for your vehicle:

  • Form 26
  • Valid insurance
  • Chassis and engine number
  • Police certificate (if stolen/lost)
  • Pollution Under Control Certificate
  • Challan clearance from the traffic police
  • Vehicle owner signature & address proof
  • PAN card copy/Form 60 and Form 61 (as applicable)
  • An affidavit that states an RC is stolen/lost and not impounded

How to Check RC Transfer Status Online?

RC transfer is required when you are either buying/selling a vehicle or inheriting a vehicle by succession. You can apply for the RC transfer online through the official Parivahan portal. Use the steps below for the RC status check by application number:
