Driving Licence Related Services

Vehicle Registration Process in Delhi

To register a vehicle at any Delhi RTO, follow these steps.

  • Step 1: Submit Form 20 (Application for Registration of a Motor Vehicle) to your jurisdictional RTO.

  • Step 2: Attach Form 21 (Sale certificate from the dealer), Form 22 (Roadworthiness from the manufacturer), and other documents to the application form. 

  • Step 3: You must also carry a self-attested copy of valid vehicle insurance and address proof for the registration address.

  • Step 4: Pay the required registration fees and road tax based on vehicle type.

  • Step 5: Collect your permanent registration certificate after the RTO processes your application.
