The Sikkim Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1982, governs the following taxes and charges. Tax calculation for bikes and cars depends on engine capacity. For omnibuses and other transport vehicles, the tax rate is determined by engine capacity, weight, and seating arrangement. Sikkim RTOs collect various fees and taxes given below:
